Jessica Lalande Bell is a Canadian artist.

Itinerant since childhood, ideas of place, duration, and flexibility permeate each of her projects giving material form a sense of temporality or, at the very least, impermanence. Sustained encounters with textile craft and housework have strongly influenced her contemporary practice; gestures like folding, binding and fixing are used as practical and symbolic means of keeping things together while quietly illuminating moments of fragility.

Jessica's studio has been in her home since 2015 and the events of home continue to persuade and direct all of her creative efforts. She is currently living and working in Utrecht, Netherlands.
